Paradigm Health System, a leading multi-specialty practice for brain, spine, orthopedic and podiatric conditions is pleased to announce the opening of our state-of-the-art physical therapy studio on the PHS campus in Slidell Louisiana. “Our new facility offers the latest in physical therapy equipment and techniques designed to meet the needs of all patients, both young and old alike,” states, Dr. Richard Texada, Orthopedic Surgeon with Paradigm Health System.
Located on Robert Boulevard just a mile north of Gause, this new 2000 square foot facility offers individualized and attentive physical therapy services to patients throughout St. Tammany Parish. Built with patient comfort in mind, most equipment faces floor to ceiling windows with a panoramic view the entire PHS campus. Both patients and visitors alike are encouraged to relax in the comfortably furnished seating area and big screen TV’s located throughout the space help make the therapy process as enjoyable as possible.
While Paradigm Physical Therapy offers many of traditional PT services common at other facilities, the experienced staff has also created a number of programs designed to specifically address the balance, dizziness and gait abnormalities frequently experienced by Neurology patients. These programs are unique to Paradigm Physical Therapy and are designed to provide patients with tools to help manage their conditions and reduce the likelihood of falls. According to Dr. Rex Houser, these therapies were instrumental in Paradigm’s decision to open the Slidell studio, “a big part of the rationale for opening Paradigm Physical Therapy was to create new and innovative programs specifically with Neurology patients in mind.”
