Robyn Johnson, PT, Director of Physical Therapy
With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years, Robyn Johnson has dedicated herself to the art and science of physical therapy, creating a legacy of care and compassion in her community. Specializing in outpatient orthopedics, Robyn has been a steadfast and familiar presence in the Slidell area for the past 19 years, where her warmth and expertise have transformed the lives of countless patients seeking relief and a path to recovery.
A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Robyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999, a milestone as one of the last graduates to achieve this degree at the bachelor’s level. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwestern State University, where she shined as both a scholar and a star athlete, competing in Division I college softball. This foundation set the stage for her commitment to excellence, empathy, and the drive to help others reach their fullest potential. Her advanced certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling further exemplifies her dedication to offering innovative pain relief and advanced healing methods tailored to each patient.
Robyn’s impact extends far beyond the clinic walls. She has called Slidell home for the past 25 years, weaving herself into the community fabric with her energy and generosity. She’s a devoted wife and mother of three incredible daughters, ages 23, 20, and 17, and brings her nurturing spirit to every aspect of her life. For the past 10 years, Robyn has been a key board member of the NHS Lady Panthers Soccer Booster Club, supporting the next generation of young athletes with the same passion she brought to her own college softball career. Her commitment to wellness and safety reaches all ages, as she regularly shares her expertise in fall prevention through talks with community groups like Ollie, the Lion’s Club, and various senior church gatherings, making a meaningful difference in the lives of local seniors.
Through every patient she sees, every family and community event she supports, Robyn embodies the heart and dedication of an exemplary healthcare professional. Her years of experience, compassionate care, and vibrant community spirit make her not just a director but a beloved figure in the Slidell healthcare landscape, inspiring trust and hope with each person she meets.
