Paradigm Health System Expands Primary Care in Mandeville with Dr. Vern Palmisano

Paradigm Health is honored to welcome Dr. Vern Palmisano to our West St. Tammany location, joining our primary care team and serving patients at our Mandeville office beginning January 5, 2026.

Dr. Palmisano is board certified in family medicine and brings more than 35 years of experience providing comprehensive primary care. His career includes private practice, academic medicine, and three years of teaching and mentoring residents through the LSU Family Medicine Residency Program, reflecting his long-standing commitment to both patient care and medical education.

Well known across St. Tammany Parish, Dr. Palmisano has been recognized by the community as a St. Tammany Best Doctor in Primary Care in both 2013 and 2014. Patients value his practical approach, clear communication, and focus on treating the whole person rather than just symptoms.

Dr. Palmisano provides primary care for patients ages 12 and up, treating a full range of minor illnesses, chronic conditions, and everyday health concerns. Same-day appointments are available, and walk-ins are welcome.

In addition to primary care, Dr. Palmisano has experience in vertigo and balance disorders, offering added support for patients who need it while remaining focused on delivering dependable, full-scope family medicine.
