Practice Focus - Dr. Nussenbaum treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including hip and knee replacement, arthroscopic procedures, fractures and dislocations of the upper and lower extremity, arthritis, and bursitis.

Bio
Dr. Nussenbaum is fellowship-trained in adult reconstruction through the NYU–Insall Scott Kelly (ISK) fellowship, one of the country's leading programs in hip and knee replacement. His focus on outcomes and technology led him to perform the first smart knee implant in the state of Georgia, and the first on the Northshore after arriving in 2024. Colleagues — including other hip and knee surgeons — frequently refer their complex revision cases to him.

Since completing his fellowship in 2019, he has treated orthopedic trauma at multiple hospitals, building deep experience with injuries of both the upper and lower extremity. He is on staff at Slidell Memorial Hospital, Slidell Memorial Hospital East, Lakeview Hospital, and Riverside Hospital, and serves as Director of Orthopedics at the PAM rehabilitation facility in Covington, where he continues to focus on quality of care after surgery.

He also brings extensive experience in pediatric orthopedics, having trained for five years at Texas Children's Hospital during his residency, and he previously served as the only surgeon providing pediatric orthopedic care in the Central Georgia region.
